Michelle Oldham is a bright star shining in the universe and the recipes in this book are like wishing upon some deliciousness. Making the right choices in your diet and the foods you decide to purchase and cook at home can have a profound effect on your life. When my wife was diagnosed with breast cancer it rocked our family’s life and forever changed our pathway. One of my wife’s favorite simple recipes to make that got her through a ton of tough times was her “Veggie Miracle Broth”. Plant-based recipes have proven to help reduce breast cancer and this is why I’m so happy to see Michelle publish a recipe book in honor of her family’s battle with breast cancer. Focusing on wellness not only in your mind but diet is as important as anything in life.
To kick off breast cancer awareness month 2021, we raised $600K in three hours for the Advancing the Breakthrough with CEOs Against Cancer Tri State Chapter. And to honor my mom who herself overcame this illness and is now an advocate against it. Special thank you to Cindy Towers for making this happen!
In honor of my mother, for every book sold through the American Cancer Society’s 2020 Hope for the Holiday’s campaign I will donate 50% of the proceeds to the American Cancer Society’s mission to end breast cancer.
